Felt Glides and Caps

Repair and replace worn and damaged glides with felt glides or felt snap-on caps.  Felt caps install easily over existing glides and prevent floor damage or scratching that a worn or damaged glide can cause, adding new life to old school glides.  The felt base also allows the school chairs to slide easily over VCT tile or wood flooring without the annoying screeching sound, thereby reducing noise in the classroom and creating a better learning environment.  Felt caps provide an economical solution to replacing and fixing worn glides.  For a more integrated solution, Carpin glides are available with felt bases integrated into the original glide base.  These glides contain an adhesive felt pad integrated into the base to create a felt base glide and provide all the benefits of felt with the ability to easily replace the felt pad if necessary.  If you do not see it here please call or e-mail us and our customer service team will help you find the right felt product for your glides and application.
